2008 UD Masterpieces Question
Seeing Spuds1961's post about Dollar General discontinuing card sales I headed to a few to see if I could pick up some packs. Didn't have nearly the same luck but I got about 20 packs @ .20 cents each so I can't complain.
To my question. I pulled a Daisuke Matsuzaka red framed card out of 2008 UD Masterpieces. No serial on the back though. I looked it up on beckett and looks like there are two red frames - one numbed to 1 (I think) and the other not specified.
I'm guessing I got the basic version of the red frame, but they both have the "SER" listing underneath.
Anyone offer any insight. Wasn't up on the cards as much pack then.

No need for a scan. This is what you get for relying on Beckett. They still can't correctly identify the 07 baseball frames.
Anyway, the card you have is the basic red frame card that is 1 per hobby box but is quite a bit rarer in retail packs. They are not serial numbered. Beckett incorrectly lists the 1 of 1 2008's as red. They are not they are more of a brownish color and are stamped 1 of 1 on the back.
