USA looks to have a good team again this year, but personally I find it painful that the world juniors has a system in place for tiebreaking purposes that teams must run the score up. Not pointing fingers but I feel bad for the danes and even the fins today who got smoked.

As a Wild fan, I could definitely get used to seeing Charlie Coyle and Jason Zucker on the top line in Iron Range Red. I'm also thinkin' Chuck Fletcher needs to send Florida a proposal at the trade deadline: Brad Staubitz for Kyle Rau. lol

Saw Kyle play with the local USHL team last season and the kid is a beast! Scouts have said if he was about six inches taller he'd be a 1st round pick. IMHO, the Panthers absolutely got a steal in the 3rd round. As a Gophers fan, too, he certainly looks good playing with the "M" on the front of his sweater! Don't know why, but I think he's pretty much the equivilant of his/mine/our generation's Neal Broten. He just reminds me too much of him.

Any predictions on medals? I'm guessing:

Gold: USA (Canada's amazing, but you just can't underestimate the Zucker/Coyle/Saad and Bjugstad/Rau combos)

Silver: Canada (I don't know much about Worlds, but with the bracketts the way they are, could there even be a USA/Canada medal game?)

Bronze: Russia or Finland
