I'm a newbie to sports card collecting, but just curious, do you guys hear a lot of stuff like this on here?

There are a ton of auctions and BIN items on eBay that have that same story. It's like everyone that gets a divorce has baseball cards involved! I never go for those auctions because you get horrible cards out of the deal even if you win the auction at a high price. I also just checked the seller's feedback and what do you know...their feedback is 99.1%. The buyers are even saying that they got average players and none of the cards pictured. They try to get you by saying things like in this eBay auction:
"One time he even spent $500 on one card alone. That almost made me mad enough to leave him then, too bad i didn't but it eventually happened anyways."
I would just disregard those type of auctions.

    lol +1
If you really have thousands of dollars in cards do you really think you are going to leave them, second of all do you really think your wife/ex wife wants them all over her house

Exactly......if you were really in it just to get rid of all your husbands cards this would taken maybe 2-3 months tops.

I personally think if this was an actual divorce, it would have been posted on Craigslist and title would be "First $100 takes it all" and would have sold that same week if she has good cards like she claims.
