It always fails...........
Hey, I just want some inputs on who has pulled inserts from retail packs.
I have not yet pulled a darn thing from a retail pack. Just curious what people have pulled and out of how many packs. The best thing I have ever pulled was a John Elway 2002 gridiron kings 1894 mc-19, but other than that, nothing. Are their secrets or something? I only get pulls from hobby packs.

Luck.
I've given up on Retail myself. The best I've pulled is an Corey Dillon FB/lace/Auto/50 (before he was popular... still on Bengals...so not that good a pull.) and a cheap Elway jersey card. Other than that I doubt I've pulled anything worth more than $10.
But some people pull good stuff out of Retail left and right. So... Luck.

Well today i pulled and alex amith rookie (qb) an Aaron rodegrs rookie. And a Jerry rice gu. i have decent luck with retail.

I`ve done ok with retail. I usually buy those variety boxes for $9.99 or $19.99. A few years ago I got a nice Peyton Manning auto. I think it was Upper Deck? Don`t remember what it was really. Also pulled a 2000 UD MVP Pro Sign Gold Marshall Faulk 5/25. Also got a few no name autos like a Ron Dugans 2000 Pacific. Lots of jersey cards too. It`s all luck anyway. Ijust enjoy opening packs and collecting rookie cards. The auto`s/GU`d I sell on eBay to help fund my addiction.

Not too extreme but I pulled a Ben Roethlisberger Hidden Gold the other day from a Topps retail pack. That's two of the same card I have pulled now. One from a hobby pack and one from a retail.
From one of the Blaster Boxes of Topps I pulled a Mike Vrabel Super Tix Relic.

I don't buy too much football but out of retail baseball I've pulled a Mickey Mantle jersey, Joe DiMaggio bat, Nolan Ryan auto/jersey, & Derek Jeter auto.

Finally got one
Yes, I finally got one today :new_multi :new_multi I was pretty stoked I posted a thread Retail Defeat it is there what I pulled It is not a big deal, but I was happy

Basicly, all i buy is retail...I only go to the card store once every few months...I've been having luck. I buy about 5-6 packs a week and in the past 3 weeks i've pulled 3 memorobilia cards. One box I got...retail rookie debut, (9.99) There was a tom brady JSY, and two rookie auto's!

I mostly buy topps chrome, and have found that the black refractors
#'d/100 seem to only come in retail. I picked up packs here and there at quicktrips last year and pulled 4 or 5 black refractors. I then got 3 hobby boxes as gifts and not one! As far as GU/Autos, nothing from retail.
