Sabres Ehrhoff To Miss Several Weeks after Fight Injury

Ehrhoff managed to get Brouwer in a headlock, but before anyone could go get Ralphie’s Mom, Brouwer managed to get in a few solid blows to the back of the head before they fell to the ice. Ehrhoff left the ice and did not return for the rest of the game.
Sabres coach, Lindy Ruff said in a post game presser that, “Ehrhoff was going to miss some time…probably weeks.”
Yep, 10 years, 40 million dollars, a 4 million dollar cap hit, and 17 points will buy you the comfiest chair in the press box.

Although initially it looked like ErrorHoff was holding his own in the grappling match, it appears that Brouwer either squeezed until ErrorHoffs chest caved in, or he somehow twisted his torso.

My guess is that he tore or separated a muscle in the chest area. Needless injury.

Sometimes you get abused in front of the net. The Caps were taking their liberties with Errhoff all game, and he eventually just had enough of the nonsense.

Did you see the Pathers/Rags game? DelZotto cross-checked Kopecky so hard into the back of his head and into the ice that his helmet flew 6 feet. Kopecky gets up and KO's DelZotto with a punch from the blindside. Kopceky then got gooned to death, which was uncalled for.

You give a guy a turd sandwich, prepare to receive a 6 course meal of dung. Too many Bullies in this league initiate the stupid stuff, eventually you have to take a stand.

Actually.. in a round about way it kind of is their fault. If Lucic never ran Miller, there never would've been the big hullabaloo over goalie contact and the Sabre's lack of reaction to Lucic's antics.
