I have PC Cillin for antivirus on my computer (came with it when I bought it). At some point I activated a password on it and now do not remember it.

I tried to uninstall the software but can't do that becasue I need the password. Any suggestions?

Well did that and now I have no internet connectionon by computer only....my wife had connection with the laptop

Had to system restore. So apparently I can't uninstall this software why?

Are you sure you followed those instructions to a T. If you have all ready reformatted, and don't mind running it again, I would try things as well. The only hazardous thing I saw in my quick look of the link was editing your registry. If you deleted the proper link and nothing else, you should still have internet access. I can see a virus rooting its self to that file and causing issues with the deletion.

Have you looked at other removal links to see if there are different processes?
