    Chile ?

    Hey guys, quick question, I was adopted as an infant from Chile and was just wondering if anyone knows of either an NFL or MLB player who was also born in Chile South America that I could start a small 'side' PC of. Thanks for your help and hope eveyone had a great and safe holiday season and Happy New Year !!!

    I've never heard of any, but I googled out of curiosity and couldn't find nada. There was a mlb player named Chile Gomez in the 1930s, but he was from mexico....lol...

    According to wikipedia there has been quite a few boxers and tennis players so you might be able to find some cards of them - otherwise try collecting soccer(futbol) cards?

    There is a Jose Quintana in the White Sox minor league system who is from Chile.

    He was probably in the 2011 Tampa Yankees team set. I ran Baseball-Reference.com's search by country, and didn't come up with any players in MLB from Chile from 1901-2011. Unfortunately, that search option isn't available for the minors.
