Pirates/Jays/Tigers ST Tips?
I am already looking forward to spring training this year and I am hoping to figure out my plans early this year. Right now I am planning on going to workouts for the Blue Jays, Pirates, and Tigers, and hopefully a game for one or two of tjhose teams.
My plan at Pirates workouts is really just to hang in between the four practice fields and catch players there before, during, and after in that area. Same idea for the Blue Jays. from what I've heard on the Tigers, the best plan is to get there early and stake out a good spot on the yellow fence by the path to the clubhouse and get guys after practice. All three teams I'm planing to just hang out in the right field corner and get who I can from home and visitors.
Any suggestions for practices and game for these three teams? Are those plans pretty solid? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Like I said in an earlier thread, the players at Blue Jays games are pretty accessible. If you're looking to get Blue Jays, go all the way down the right field side. Pretty much every Blue Jay signs.
If you're looking for visitors, go down the left field side and there is an area where players walk through. There's a fence separating you and the players, some visitors sign through that fence. Others sign above the dugout and down the 3rd baseline.
Hope this helps. I'll be trying the Tigers at Lakeland and the Pirates at Bradentown for my first time this year as well.

Thanks phillykid15, that does help. So most of the Jays are good signers? Do you know about any good signers on the Pirates of Tigers?

Atleast during the Regular Season, the Tigers as a group are awful at signing. Not sure how they are during Spring Training though.

One big suggestion is for you to be sure to pack along an MLB baseball. Spring Training sometimes attracts former stars and you want to be sure to have something for them to sign. You would not forgive yourself should Al Kaline or someone show up and take time to sign and you were not prepared. Best of luck and looking forward to you telling us how it goes!

Gladdyonthese, good suggestion, thanks. And indyreds, that's interesting, hadn't heard that about the Tigers and I'll keep that in mind. Thanks.

No problem. Yeah most of the Jays are good signers including Bautista.
I've done the Tigers a couple times when they were away, and they're ok signers. Verlander doesn't sign very often, he's probably the hardest to get. Cabrera is an ok signer, same with most of their other guys like Martinez, Ordonez, Porcello, etc.
Never tried the Pirates. I have gone to many games when the Pirates played other teams, but I always try for the other team, not the Pirates.
Addition: As indyreds pointed out, Kaline usually goes to Tigers camp in Lakeland. I've heard he signs a good amount.

I'm kind of feeling like the Tigers might be hit and miss, especially at workouts, so I might try one game or focus only on the Jays and Pirates. That's good to hear about the Blue Jays, especially Bautista, and I can't imagine that the Pirates can be too tough or have crowded practices. Anyone know much about Jays or Pirates practices? Or the Pirates at McKenie Field?

Im generally not someone to hate on a thread, but there are like 4 threads asking this exact question...
the pirates ST stadium in bradenton is the best graphing stadium ever IMO. Read the other threads for my detailed description I'm not typing it again...

I checked out your thread cyberer and it was very helpful, thanks. One las question. Do I have any chance of getting any Yankees autos at Bright House Field? Im going to try to get Robinson Cano during ST and I have Phillies tickets to that game, so do I have any chance at Yankees vs Phillies?
