Pack Pull.....
I stopped at my local flea market to pick up some packs after work today. I was talking to the owner (real nice guy, always gives me deals) and he was saying he couldnt get rid of these last 8 packs of 2010 UD World of Sports cards. I've bought a few boxes in the past. I send the non-baseball cards out for TTM. So, i know there are 2 auto's and 1 Relic in each box. Then you also usually a clear competitors serial numbered cards. A box has 20 packs with 6 card per box. He gave me each pack for $3, usually there $4.
What are the chances that I get all the hits in the last 8 packs. I should go and get a lotto tix tonight. I pulled every hit from the box. I couldn't believe it. The auto's are Tubby Smith(College BB Coach) and a Karrie Webb (Womans Golf). The relic is a Wayne Gretzky Team Canada GU Jersey and the Clear Compititors is a Bodie Miller /550. The Gretzky being the big hit.
So, then I also picked up a retail box of 2008 Stadium Club Baseball cheap. 1 auto on the average. Hoping for a Longoria. Well my luck ran out. I pulled a redemption card that expired 10/31/10. I think I will call Topps tomorrow and see if they could still send me something. I didn't even think about pulling a redemption.
Anyone have any luck with expired redemption cards?Last edited by howiek; 01-05-2012 at 09:39 PM.

Topps is pretty strict on the redeptions anymore, doesn't hurt to ask.

Nice grab on those packs! Good luck with Topps. You never know, sometimes they help out. They have a couple of Twitter accounts that can help you if you are on Twitter.

Thanks for the tip. I do not have a twitter account, though. I'll give them a call on Monday, I keep forgetting to bring the card with me to work.
They suprised in the past with a redemption. It is just a jeff Clement auto,
nobody big.
A couple of years ago I pulled a redemption out of a box of Ginter and later on got an email telling me that there would send me a replacement card because they where having problems getting that particular card signed. Well they sent me the replacement and then a few month later they ended up sending me the original autograph card also.

From what I have seen through social media Topps has been pretty fair. I have a feeling you will get something in return. I'll be rooting for ya.

I don't mean to try to steal your thread but I don't want to post another with basically the same question but does anyone know anything about expired Upper Deck redemptions? I pulled one today that expired 10/11 and keep seeing things about them doing something with expired redemptions in January. Any help?

Upper Deck will usually send something...if they turn you down the first time, just keep calling. They'll eventually hook you up. Topps won't do ANYTHING but deny you...UD is cool though. After a nine month wait on a James Davis (Clemson/Browns running back) redemption, I requested a Packers replacement. They sent me a Paul Hornung Ultimate Autograph and an AJ Hawk rookie autograph.
