Harveys book
I hear about this book all the time and would be interested in buying one but I have a couple questions, 1 where do you get them? do they have them at local bookstores/barnes and noble or only online? 2. Is it worth it, I've never seen one of these books so I don't know whats all in it, do they have a ton of addy's or just the ones you can find online? 3. any other info I should know while considering buying one for TTM purposes. I am looking to really get started on a positive foot so I'm hoping it is accurate and I don't get a ton of RTS.

You can order them here. I just ordered a baseball list and they are supposed to ship this week. From what I have heard the lists are insane. Hundreds and thousands that you cannot find online. All of your questions can be answered in the FAQ section.

Last I heard from Harvey, the new lists were supposed to ship the 5th.
Anyway, yes it has A LOT of address that can't be found online. If you are serious about this hobby it is well worth the $$$. (this is my first personal copy, but I have have used several address from the book)

Im curious, It seems like a great deal since there are soo many more addresses than online. But how do we know how successful those addresses are? Since people can update a website, we always know. But how will you know if you have a good chance sending it to an address from the book? Thanks

the more and more I read I couldn't stop myself, I went ahead and bought it tonight. I'm really excited to get back into this hobby I sent out a couple before but more like a blind squirrel to current athletes. Being Friday night/Saturday it may be Monday till it ships but for those who got it how long does it usually take (I live in Florida where he is out of hopefully that will help)

1. Harvey supplies the addresses only. There is no indication of if the person is a good signer or not. (Not sure if that's what you meant by "successful".) You still have to use the on-line sites to tell if the person is a good signer or not. Or you can just try it blindly.
2. For changing addresses, if you get a RTS (aka. yellow sticker), Harvey has a policy where he will research & give you a new address.

Funny, I've always deep down felt that harveys was a bit of a scam and not worth it, but I've gotten Revis island, miles Austin, aj hawk and Elton brand from Harvey the last 3 months, so I am a believer now...

are you using the home addy's for those players from the book, do you think it is a lot better than the team addy's because less people know those.
