    Yankees ST

Hey I am planning on doing a lot of Yankees ST games this year (mainly for opposing teams) but also some Training Camp for the Yankees. Anybody out there have experience with them, I've heard they are tough gets but I've done minor league games at the stadium before and the field is easily accessible for those, although I've never tried outside the stadium. If anyone has any good tips please share, thanks.

I went to two games last year trying to get Yankees and I didn't end up with a single auto pregame. I also went to six or seven practices and they were certainly tough for autographs. I ended up with Nick Swisher, David Wells, Colin Curtis, and Boone Logan. Not many guys stop to sign in the area between the practice field and the stadium, and only a few guys sign inside. I heard some guys actually signed a good amount, but I must have missed those days. I would suggest that you watch practice from inside the stadium for the best chance at getting some autos.

Be aware to look for legends in the stands. Best places are usually behind homeplate. Yogi Berra, Ron Guidry and craig Nettles come to mind as usual ST visitors!
