Mac Users, need a little help
So here's my situation; I have a Power Book G4 that appears that it may finally be ready for the computer graveyard. I recently updated my iPod's OS and now I am unable to sync my iPod with my computer. All of my music is on here and when I did the iPod update, it wiped the hard drive clean. The reason why it won't sync is that I am not running OS X 10.5 (leopard) or greater, I think that I am running O x 10.4 (tiger).
My question is, does anyone know where I can get the upgrade from Tiger to Leopard? Outside of getting my music and photos off of the computer (we have two other computers that we can use), I really don't need Leopard for a long period of time, and certainly not worth buying. The computer will be disposed of after the upgrade. Are there any site where I can download this for free? Or am I stuck doing this the long way, transferring my music, photos, apps, and videos via flash drive?

check that out first and see if your laptop is on it?
but I believe the only way to download it would be illegally if you would want that haha. just search leopard for mac free on youtube and some stuff may pop up to see what you can do

My laptop is not on there unfortunately.... I'll give youtube a shot, but it looks like I'll be doing this the hard way.

sounds like you just need an OS upgrade. Apple has been making you keep everything upgraded to be able to use their devices a lot more than what they used to.
