Help with trade value of a card

Hey guys, I'm looking for a TV on this card. This card comes 1:720 packs and obviously had NPDTS. This being a popular guy like Thornton, it could recieve some serious demand.
Also, on a related note, does anyone know how many blacks were made for this year for each player?
Oh, and this isn't from the update set. From the regular Victory boxes.

Victory Black parallels from the regular sets do pretty well. I reckon you could get 25-30 out of it.

Not necessarily, I had a Malkin from this year and it only sold for $8 at auction.

A Kovy sold for $10. I think the seller didn't list it correctly and that cost him a few bucks.

Yet a Sakic sold for $68. Granted Thornton or Kovy isn't a player on Sakic's level, but it still went for a lot.

They are very hit or miss, IMO so I want to try to get a good value.

He was asking for trade value, not sale value. Thornton's got a decent enough following that he should be able to get a 25-30BV card for it, which is roughly translatable to an 8-10SV card.

yeah id stick it at a SV of approx 10$, although tough pulls, its still victory and really only the decent black rookies sell for premium dollars
