The only way to tell is if the COA is a complete shame upon receiving it.

It can't be scam when they clearly state it was obtained through the mail, in-person or at a show...they are doing absolutely nothing wrong.

I agree with asujbl. It's no scam, you just have to know what you are getting when you bid.

The guy spelled vary wrong. How much credibility can he have?

well, I consider myself very credible and am also a powerseller with 1100+ feedback, but every once in a while I'll have some minor spelling errors. It's not good, I agree, but one word mispelled shouldn't label him overall.

Actually I think he is wrong... he states that he receives autos through the mail and states this specific card is personally signed by Kevin Garnett. There is no way to prove that fact if received TTM. Just my 2 cents...

are we judging people on spelling now? I am glad I'm not the seller...I'd be ripping this site apart for judging me based on zero facts.

well the guy said hes got a certificate of authenticity, which means he sent it out to a company to authenticate it for him. I find nothing wrong with the auction. People on Ebay clearly should know by now to read everything on the page before bidding.
