so i work for the airlines so i get free travel. i was thinking of trying to get down to tampa this year for some autographs during spring training.
2 questions. 1st which one should i do the yankees or the phillies. which one is easier to get autographs. 2nd question which is the best time to go. should i go in february when the pictchers and catchers report or should i go later on in march.

Definitely go in February. Practices are a much better time to get signatures. I have heard that the Yankees are a rough experience and I would choose the Phillies, but people do get some stars when they know what they are doing with the Yankees.

The Yankees are tough to get autos from and I would honestly go later in March. I've been going to Phillies Spring Training for the last 4 years, and for the first time I tried practices in February last year. The only two guys that consistently signed were Rollins and Victorino. At the games, I got pretty much every position player at around the 6th inning when they came off the field. You can get guys before the game as well by the left field pole and by the Phils dugout.
