    Protecting your cards questions

So I'm running thru my cards and inventorying them on there. Just finished all the commons and such. Logging in all the game used and whatnot.

I'm coming across some of my cards in sleeves and toploaders, where it seems the sleeve is stuck to the card. It actually isn't but you can see like the compression marks on the sleeve. Not sure what you could call it, but you can see where in some spots the sleeve is more pressed against the card then in other spots.
    Card comes out fine.

Some of these are I assume machine #'d. It appears like it is in printed ink. The #'s almost look like they are bleeding somewhat.

What can I do? Change out all the sleeves(pretty sure they were Ultra Pro) I just don't want anymore damage if it has been done already.

What year(s) and brand(s) are we talking?

Are you not that familar with serial numbered cards?

I get a vague idea here, still need a little bit more insight.

Cards within the past 10 years. Particularly the ones I'm speaking of with the ink looks like it is bleeding are 04-05 Pacific jerseys.

I'm familiar with the serial #'d cards. There are ones that are hand numbered, machine printed and ones where it is stamped on(part of the card rather than put on later)

Well I have a few of them, and they all seem to be doing it. Not bleeding beyond recognition, just slightly.

I'm more concerned about how the penny sleeves stick to the card a bit. Maybe it is just prolonged being in a case. Haven't had any stick to the card and mess it up so maybe I'm good.

That's great, sounds like a small ordeal. :)
