Retail 06-07 Topps x3
Ebay seller mis-represented these as Hobby boxes, so I ended up with 3 of these. Got half of my money back so ended up paying $13 for each. Figure that's good enough for a cheap break. Pretty fun to break a lot of packs, but didn't get much out of it since it's retail and a super low end product. Plus, I have most of the Bulls cards from this set already, so not much PC for me.
Got a bunch of base, all the RC's, some inserts. Here's a review below:
The base cards were actually pretty neat to go through, since the photography was good for the most part, like all the little details you can see (e.g. Kobe dunking as opponent behind him is down on his knees, Lebron challenging Zo, Zo Blocking Pierce with awesomeness, Al Jeff running over Childress, Wallace crashing over Haslem, Nate vs. AI2 Dunk contest that Nate stole with his gimmick)

Got a bunch of inserts, I always like the metallic finish to these, but they are all pretty much worthless, I guess #/500 of these insert exists, but I have never seen any on ebay.

Got multiple copies of RC's A & B versions, again not worth much but there are some stars at least (not counting Randy Foye):

Probably the best thing about this product is some of the neat Larry Bird cards that are in it, some nice photos again (e.g. Bird vs. Magic, Bird vs. Kareem, Bird & Walton) So ended up with a bunch of these, too bad I do not collect Celtics

I guess the big guaranteed "hit" of these retail boxes are the 1 per box gold parallel of the base card. I got one player that I despised and one borderline star, these are #'ed out of 500 :

The 3rd gold parallel was probably the best card from the whole break:

I would be lucky if I can get $10 back from this whole thing, but oh well, pretty fun overall, everything is available for sale or Bulls cards.

At least you got to bust a bunch of wax for cheap, and the bird cards are nice, plus the #'d bird is a good card.

Hey man I have some interest in the rondo rookie card and numbered Larry bird. In the selling thread I have a post with many bulls inserts and maybe few rookie cards. Im on my iPad right now is a pain to copy and paste. If you can't find the thread pm me and I will shoot it to you in the morning.
Thanks Bryce

I feel you man, I just bought three boxes of Panini Prestige thinking they were Hobby, but were retail. Mostly my own fault for not really doing the research as it doesn't say "Hobby" anywhere on the page... but it doesnt say retail either. They hide those little details for people like me who dont read it all.
But like you said, always fun to go through that many packs. Haven't got mine yet, but will let everyone know what I pull.
