That sucks that he was kind of a prick. Especially for a paid signing. Atleast pretend to be friendly for the hour or two your being paid to be there.

I know what you're talking about...especially when he was a back-up QB for all but four games of his career. Not like he was some superstar. But he wasn't even the starter.

Big shout out to bigga for transferring me the free Cavs tickets he won...thanks to him, I'll be doing my first Cavs game of the year (against Sacramento) on Sunday night and saving at least $30 on tickets! Who should I 'graph? The Cavs or the Kings? Jimmer and Tyreke or Kyrie?

Got to do my first Cavs game tonight thanks to Bigga...they played the Kings. Goal for tonight was to get Tyreke, Jimmer, or Kyrie. Of course, I didn't get any of them but came away with a pretty nice haul nonetheless. Here's the recap...

Got in and headed to the Kings side. I saw Kyrie was out, so I decided I would do the Cavs until Irving went in. While waiting for him, I got the following Cavs:

    Samardo Samuels 1/1
    Ben Uzoh 1/1

Kyrie walked off the court and started signing...got to me, stopped, and ran in the locker room. Major ouch right there. Just barely missed him...that really sucked. After that, I didn't really need any of the Cavs, so I went back to the Kings. Here's how I did there:

Tyreke Evans 0/2 (faked an injury, said he'd come back)
    John Salmons (ignored)
Jimmer Fredette 0/1 (was told he didn't sign)
Chuck Hayes 1/1 (smeared; threw it back in the stack as Evans was coming off)
Travis Outlaw 1/1 (ran with a bad Sharpie...)
    Jason Thompson 1/2
    Demarcus Cousins 1/1
    Alex English 1/1

Cousins was skipping around a lot and didn't do many, so I was pretty happy to get him. English kept repeating "I only sign pictures," while managing to sign no more than one picture. He only signed two or three, so I was pretty psyched to add a tough Hall of Famer to my collection!

Other than Tyreke being dumb and just missing Kyrie, I did pretty darn well. But, man, there are so many dang dealers in Cleveland that it's almost not fun. I really don't like it, and don't blame guys for not signing. Kyrie walked off the court and was assaulted with at least 50 photos, posters, and basketballs. Poor kid. Same thing for Evans and Cousins. I really don't blame them.

Like I said though, seven autographs including a very talented young player and a Hall of Famer. I'm pretty dang happy for my first Cavs game of the year, but I'm not sure if I want to go back...

Nice English, he ignored me. Uzoh just got cut I heard after the game, but hopefully they go for Manny. Jimmer did sign, and he signed a ton actually lol. Don't worry you'll be back hahaha

I like Manny better anyway...little bummed that Jimmer did sign quite a bit. Still, like I said, I got him TTM and didn't have Kyrie, so I would do the same thing over again...why doesn't Jimmer play at all?

Isaiah Thomas has been playing really good lately. Jimmer was starting awhile while thornton/evans were out. Thomas started their last game nd played good so he pretty much got all of Jimmer's minutes today

Next 'graphing event, and probably the last before Opening Day? Twins Spring Training this week for at least one day!

Nice NBA graphing. Wish I could do some at MSG when I go on Wednesday, but I'm doubtful of being able to get down to the floor and haven't found much else on graphing there pre and post-game. Good luck on Twins spring training, the mood down there is so awesome!

Yeah, I imagine that MSG isn't too fan friendly...that's gotta be a bummer as a 'grapher. Worth a shot though, eh? Pretty excited to get a chance to get autographs at Spring Training. Joe Mauer and Paul Molitor are the big guns I'm after!

Well, had a great day 'graphing the Twins in Fort Myers and meeting up with jyosi. Came away with 20+ autographs (nice!) and some nice names...unfortunately, there's one new player to add on the ultimate "jerk" list: Joe Mauer. For being listed as ESPN's nicest athlete, he's worthless. I follow him around for FOUR HOURS while he practiced and he said he's signed at the end. Then, instead of signing, he went to do interviews. After the interviews, he just blew us off. Hope he goes back to catcher and blows his knee out...

Despite not getting Mauer (and now I have an extra ROMLB...yay.), I still had a great day. Here's the results, to be scanned when I get home:

On a Roster Sheet (my mom got it signed for me...lucky guy, I know)

    Drew Butera
    Carl Pavano
    Liam Hendricks
    Terry Doyle
    Scott Diamond
    Jeff Manship
    Kyle Waldrop
    PJ Walters
    Casey Fien

On a Target Field 8x10 (got it done myself)

    Ryan Doumit
    Brian Dinkelman
    Jamey Carroll
    Denard Span
    Ray Chang
    Rick Anderson
    Brian Dozier
    Michael Hollimon
    JR Towles
    Josh Willingham
    Drew Butera
    Tsuyoshi Nishioka
    Ben Revere
    Tony Oliva

Overall, a very good day (minus Mauer). Some very good names, some cool people, and a great day. Butera, Nishioka, Revere, and Oliva are all guys I'm psyched to have. Can't wait to get home and post my photos!
