Precise definition needed

Can anyone tell me the exact differences between Bowman and Bowman Tiffany. Also Topps and Topps Tiffany. This is for hockey as I'm inventorying all my stuff to the site here.

I've read that it is the white cardboard stock and a glossy finish. But is the white cardboard stock meaning the back has the white or the front? Because a regular bowman has a white border. And the back to me is just a very light light cardboard brown color. I almost can't even tell the glossy for the front. Is it very noticeable?
Maybe take for instance 10-11 Score hockey has a glossy version. I can notice that by feel.

I know it's probably being really anal but I want to log them all in properly. But I guess I can't be perfect. I seriously will always hate different card sets that aren't distinguishable without it being complicated.


And another one I hate is how some are French or Canadian. Some you can tell if it has the different language, others it is near impossible.
Just now was trying to figure the difference between a Alexander Mogilny 93-94 #22 Pinnacle All Stars and Pinnacle All Stars Canadian. Think I figured it as the ASG logo being on one side for regular and the other for Canadian, but not certain. I guess one listing will be right or wrong. I'm too fussy I think lol.

The Topps and Bowman Tiffany cards are most easily identifiable by their white backs, the backs of the regular cards are the normal brownish cardboard color.

Ok thanks. Just wanted to be sure it was the pure white back. I hope it's not just me who hates the fact there is so many variations of stuff. Can be a pain at times.

Topps Tiffany is the higher quality parallel of the Topps brand from the late 80s and early 90s (same thing with Bowman but it is just called Bowman Tiffany). If you have any of the regular cards you can easily tell them apart from the Tiffany version. The front is very glossy (for a card from that time period) and the backs are higher quality white cardboard instead of the brown cardboard. So the backs look different:

I should be good. I already loaded up my baseball and only ones like the 2nd pic were Traded ones. So it was obvious with the T. On hockey now and I highly doubt I'm going to have any Tiffany's.
