    D-Will Returns to Utah

Wow, so many boos. Complete classless act by Jazz fans. He gave his all during his 6 years here.

Not a Jazz fan, but Deron deserved the boos. He signed a 70 million 4 year contract with the Jazz and about halfway through that contract and he was demanding a trade, constantly complaining, butting heads with Sloan, etc. Sloan was beloved in Utah and whether or not Deron anything or nothing to do with Sloan leaving, the fans associate him with that. He denies that he forced Sloan out, but honestly who would admit to that. If he really was giving it his all, there was no way Utah was going to kick him to the curb mid-season for the Devin Harris package. The fact is that last year he was there he was being a distraction; everyone knew he wanted out of Utah bad and he made sure everyone knew about it. You can say that it's part of the game that players have a right to demand trades nowadays, well it's also part of the game that the fans have to boo a player they feel has been an a-hole to the city/team.

I agree with you. He wanted out and forced his way out, so he lost the right to be cheered upon a return. Utah atleast seems like a place that if you give the team your all and you leave at the end of your contract, you'll probably get cheered when you return, but when you act like he did, the fans won't like it.

It was because he went on National Television and announced he was leaving the whole state behind in his dust .... oh wait.
