Could someone please explain to me why Upper Deck did not feel the need to make autograph cards of key defensive rookies like Derrick Johnson, Demarcus Ware, Marcus Spears and others. Yet they made auto cards of Antrel Rolle, PacMan Jones, Erasmus James, and Shawne Merriman. All of those players have regular cards made, so I don't think that its due to contract issues or not being signed to upper deck, because if they weren't why would they have any card made by them? And yet the other football card makers do have auto's of said players... Donruss/Playoff does, and I know I will be buying their stuff for sure because I definitely want a Demarcus Ware auto.


I find it to be a questionable decision on UD's part. Maybe this will change with their later releases, but I checked Upperdeck.com and did a card search on Johnson, Spears, Ware and others, and they did not have an autograph card.
