damaged 1/1?

I'd definitely call them and see what they could do. I've only heard of a few situations that they reprint the card though, but it is possible. Most of the stories that I've read are that they send in the cards with the box, wrappers, and receipt, but all they get in return is some no-name that you have never heard of that they claim has the same value. I'd be cautious with that 1/1.

Make sure to send in the pack wrappers, UPC code from the box and a purchase receipt for the box. Otherwise Topps won't do anything but send it back to you!

A couple years ago I sent in a damaged Ginter mini wood 1/1 without any of that stuff.. just the card and a letter and they sent it back.

What about Panini? I have a Gabbert auto prime patch rc #'d/5 that was damaged out of the pack...but I threw the box and wrappers away before I read their replacement policy. I had it already packaged and ready to send in, but now I'm not sure what to do.

Upper Deck has replaced several cards for me without any problems. And back when Fleer was still in business, they were easy to deal with as well.

i sent in all the goodies with the card to topps.... (upc,receipt,mini boxes, box topper,packs)

i had a damaged card from panini and they fixed it up for me and sent it back..... it was a prime jersey /50 and they repaired the card... took about 4-6 weeks in total... not bad..

Wait, the original is the top card and they sent you the bottom as the replacement? Is it also a 1/1? If so, why wasn't that card packed out? Odd. I don't know if there's a lot of Marcel Daerus fans/collectors out there, but if there are and they were out busting product in the hopes of finding the 1/1 (long odds, yes, but we all have dreams) and they saw that the 1/1 was held as a replacement card they'd have a legit claim to be pretty upset.
