    Whats this baseball worth?

I recently bought a official major league baseball signed by derek jeter, bernie williams, jorge posada and joe torre from my cousin who obtained it in person at a toronto restaraunt. Torre signed the ball in pen on the ss and the others side paneled it but signed it in black sharpie. The autographs are clean and are not faded. Just curious what value you guys think it has.

I'm no expert, but in my personal experience it is worth nothing without authentication and even then... not what you would expect.

175? I believe its worth double that, and understandably so i get that it would be hard to resell for a good price without an authentication but i bought it off a family memeber who i know for a fact got it signed and since i dont have any intention on reselling it i would trust that over most of these 3rd party authentication companies.

If I had that and someone offered $175 id take it and run. If I had that ball at the shop I work at I would put $75-100 on it tops probably $50 and thats once Ive authenticated it. Sharpie balls kill it, you want single signed balls and if its going to be multi signed it has to be all in blue ink...

I think $175 is to much. You forget over time the sharpie will bleed.

Yep, never get baseballs signed with a sharpie, they will bleed and fade like crazy. Blue ballpoint pen is your best bet when getting baseballs signed.

the ball was signed a few years ago, it hasnt blead yet, i know sharpie balls are worth less, but you mean to tell me 50 dollars for one of the greatest yankees of all time?! Then one of the best managers and probably their best catcher. I personally didnt get the ball signed i would never use sharpie, but it actually looks really good on this ball and has not faded one bit. While i appreciate the responses i think they are a bit off.

the sharpie will bleed over time, its only been a few years. Go 10 years or so down the road...

But honestly $$$ wise, who knows but nice piece for sure.
