Was sorting through some basketball cards, cause I am getting out of basketball (have too much football and baseball)...well anyway, I stumbled across this David Robinson/Wally Szcerbiak Error...it is a 1999-00 Stadium Club Onyx Extreme Die Cut....and yes, the back is of Szcerbiak and it is inverted....anyone have any idea on the value??

Have you contacted the company? They would be able to help you with that.

That is smart for you to do. Send it in to Beckett and get it graded. Make it worth a whole lot more that way. Plus Beckett might be able to price it for you.

I never thought of that....thanks for the help.....I just wonder if it is worth spending the $$ to get it graded....if it is for some reason really rare, the value would probably be held down because I dont see much of a market for either of those guys

Unless you find either a Robinson or Szcerbiak collector you probably won't get much for it, it's just a simple production mistake.

If there are more of them out there then yes it is a simple production mistake. But there are times when there aren't and it makes the card more valuable. If you do get it graded through it up on eBay and see what happens.

If it were a simple production mistake there probably WOULDN'T be more out there, but in this case it wouldn't necessarily make the card more valuable. Beckett has printed numerous letters regarding mistakes like this and they've always said it's really no big deal, unless you find a specific collector. I know Beckett isn't the almighty answer to everything, there could be someone out there willing to pay big bucks for your card, but I've seen plenty of wrongback errors piled high for next to nothing.
