    Missing Enforcers

Now that Enforcers has been out for more than a week, collectors have been emailing me to do an update or a part two.

Before I consider this, I would like to know what Enforcers you think were missing from our product.

Producing the product was a lot of fun, I hope everyone enjoyed it.

Some more of the current guys could have been in there (It may have made the product more attractive to newer collectors that are thinking "Dave Semenko who" lol)

    Chris Neil

You could even do a Goalie line that has the tenders that just stand up for themselves.
    Billy Smith
    Ray Emery
    Ron Hextall....

Billy Smith only hacked and speared, he rarely fought. Two of the biggest fighters as goalies and tough to boot are Steve Shields and Dan Cloutier. Kolzig was polite, but a monster if he lost it.

In terms of Forwards, and Defensemen...... Laurie Boschman was not an Enforcer, he was a coward, like Bernie Nicholls and Tony Granato, he just took a lot of stupid penalty minutes. Joe Watson also not an Enforcer.

Missing guys I suppose that were Uber tough:

    Bruce Shoebottom
    Craig Coxe
    Mel Bridgman
    Don Saleski
    Craig Muni
Mark Messier (nobody fought more in his first 4 years of Hockey) guy was crazy

I'm still hopeful for a couple more Rick Rypien cards...but I can only assume there were reasons he wasn't included in the first run...

I agree with more current players, as a "middle of the pack" aged collector (i think...maybe on the younger end) I saw some of these cards and went "...errr..." and had to flip the card over and read the back.

Edit: However my parents were quite pleased to see some of the players they used to watch on the cards I got...

I like that idea! I guess some of the goalies could be in BTP anyways, whereas Enforcers has many players not usually in sets.

You mean this nick kypreos... A shame that he got fed in this manor, but I am not sure if he was an enforcer, the guy got rocked in most fights.

Definitely Ron Hextall. When Brian Propp got clobbered by Chelios, Hextall was the only Flyer to step up and take action.

How about a Bloody Battles (still cringe at that title) of one of the best Goalie bouts ever? Patrick Roy and Chris Osgood!

Ozzie beat Roy like a cheap rug, and Roy is a foot taller. Lol
