    PSA scoring

    Hey,

I'm not a very avid graded collector; however, I was doing a bit of research and came across something interesting.

I'd like to know if anyone else has noticed this with other cards. I have a 1955-56 Parkhurst OTG #29 Teeder Kennedy graded PSA 3. After looking at the following eBay item (the same card, graded PSA 4), I was shocked at the fact that my card is clearly in better shape. There is no extensive damage to the back of my card.

Is it possible that the grade of 3 is an error, or could this simply be an issue of opinion in the people who graded these cards?

The colour of my card is not so blurred. My scanner is low quality.

Edit: Here is the card from the auction:

I'm no grader but the centering does look better on his than yours and maybe the edges too? The edges on his look a little sharper. The corners look fairly comparable to me. The surface of yours does appear miles better, though.

    Just one man's thoughts.
