    Back after a little 20 year break

    I haven't collected since the early 90's when my favorite card store (and the first place I ever earned a paycheck) closed.

    I spent the last few years working in minor league sports (hockey, football & MMA), now I work part time in pro wrestling. I also started a blog covering the Atlantic League (indy baseball). I'm a huge minor league sports fan.

    Anyway, I know the industry has shifted towards all these chaser cards, which I sort of think is ridiculous. I miss the days when the big chaser card was the Billy Ripken Rick Face. But I'm sure that debate has been done to death.

    I'm planning on just being a box breaker to hand build sets from 1980 up. I'm also interested in international cards and minor league cards.

    in an awkward segue into a bit of a brag. I collected autographs as a kid, and I'm still insanely proud of a Rawlings Adirondack bat with a HOF 50th Anniversary sticker with 30 HOF autos. I may just get buried with that stick.

    Thanks guys. Waiting on a couple boxes to show up in the mail Monday or Tuesday.

    I will have to take some pics of the bat. I have a pair of balls, 1 NL ball with the National Leaguers and an AL ball with American Leaguers to match.

    I'm trying to get to 10 posts without being an obviously noob so I can see sig file images.
