USPS letter rates raised again!
Yeah it is 45 cents each way now and a penny more as well for postcards for those who do send them as thank you notes for autographs. I stopped sending the thank you postcards to players a few years back as rates raised. Am I the only one who missed those 27 cent letters? It seems that 32 cents was not that long ago at all! Anyways make sure you find out what your photos are going to cost now before dropping them in the mail. Nothing is more frustrating than getting items back for not having enough postage!

I rushed and got about 35 requests out on Sat before the increase. I also bought 5 books of Forever Stamps last week as well.
I was using postcards as returns for permission to send for a couple multi-auto projects, I may not get some back now after the price increase.
Plus the first TTM I sent was in 1987, $0.22 both ways. Those days are long gone.

It's 2 cents more per request. For me, I couldn't care less.

I feel the same way. The price of a sheet of stamps went from $8.80 to $9. Whoop-de-doo. Now I just won't get change back. Frankly, I won't really be annoyed by increases until stamps go over 50 cents a piece.

Same here, maybe it's just me but I think 45 cents is still pretty cheap considering the current state of the postal system.

I know it is only 2 cents total more for a request, but it seems like a year does not go by without an increase.

It is a bit ridiculous. They talk all about getting rid of post offices nationwide, which will mean less convenience for service. I can currently walk to my local PO. Saves me gas if I just have to mail something and don't want to drive. If they close it I'll have to drive. But it does go up once a year. And they want to cut services for us. Make it less convenient yet charge us more. No PO have closed that I know of. I know one town they want to close down the towns only PO and have the mail dealt with by the next bigger town over.
Some decisions these big shots make are just stupid.
