    Upper Deck Rivals inquiry (Carmelo)

I'm having one heck of a time getting info from ANYBODY on this - been to a card shop, called dealers, even Upper Deck! :icon_neut

The Carmelo/James Rivals set from 04/05 is the set in question. From this set I have a 15/15 Carmelo Anthony card (has the holographic sheen facsimile autograph on it). From what pieces I have gathered so far, it is some sort of parallel card - possibly platinum? Where does one obtain an estimated value for an allegedly rarer find such as this? Just looking for some kind of benchmark. Thanks.

Yes, that is the Platinum version. Great pull! Since only 14 others exist, I imagine it would have a pretty high price, but as spydermat stated - probably the best place to get some sort of gauge of its value is eBay. Beckett usually doesn't price very low serial #ed cards.

I sometimes do check around ebay now and then for his cards in general - but this one as a single hasn't popped up on the radar yet. That's the trouble with these rare serial # cards - they're really cool, but you have no blazin' idea what kind of value to assess to them!! Still open to ideas from the forum peanut gallery! :icon_wink
