    Bubble Mailers

    Hi,
I know a lot of you guys have done a ton of trades, and I am just getting into that. I went to the post office to mail a couple of cards, and the bubble mailers were 99 cents. I looked on eBay, and they had some much cheaper, but they look a little different. I was wondering if there is a certain brand or certain type of bubble mailer that is recommended for sending cards. If anyone has a link, eBay or otherwise, I would really appreciate it. I am looking to buy in bulk, also, to save even more. Thanks.

If you are looking to buy in bulk, there is a vendor on ebay who it seems everyone buys from....of course, I can't remember their username, I think it is Parrothead or something like that, someone will be able to come along and help you I am sure. You may want to do a search and see if that is correct though.

I get my bubble mailers at walmart. I always get the 6x9 size padded mailers....there are like 5 in a pack for $2.50-$3.00 (can't remember). I use 6x9 because I use delivery confirmation on everything I send, and our PO will not accept anything smaller. Also, if you use DC, you want to put a wad of paper or something inside the mailer to make it at least 3/4 of an inch thick, or the PO won't DC it.

Another thing I do is save all the padded mailers I receive, and then I will buy the 6x9 (approx) manila type envelopes, put the card in a used bubble mailer, make sure it is secure in it, then slip the bubble mailer into the manila envelope and mail it that way....saves you some dough on padded mailers.

    Peace~

what i like to do is to cut the mailer into two strips, then slide a toploaded card into the strip, tape it up, and put that in the manilla envelope, so you can get 2 if they're one card each.

Parrothead88 on Ebay is a good place to buy. Good prices, quick shipping, etc. It's the only place I buy bubble mailers.

Usually people use the #000 or #00 size bubble mailers.

If your looking to buy some to get in hand much quicker.. Just go to Wally world... I buy the 10 packs there for about 4 dollars and it works well for me.
