A Habs fan this morning suggested on the Internet that we should trade Kostitsyn and Y. Weber to Nashville for Radulov. Who wouldn't give up two roster players for a guy that will probably never play another game in the NHL, right?

I'm always wary of giving up roster players for players that don't even compete in North America. It's why I didn't get too upset when the Habs traded away the rights to Karri Ramo in the Cammalleri deal - as much as it would have been amusing to me to one day have a Carey/Karri combo in Montreal, he seemed pretty happy to be playing over in the KHL. Now it's Calgary's problem. As they say, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
