Met Gordie recently at the HHOF induction. Regardless of his mental state, one of the nicest men I've ever had the pleasure of speaking with . . .

Hmmm.... that's in contrary to what is said here:
    http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/spo...138550489.html

It is said this is a mild form of dementia potentially, and it has affected him for about as early as nine years ago. It apparently started while taking care of his ailing wife Colleen, but was not watching himself at the same time. From that is mentioned, it is not Pick's Disease or Alzheimer's. It mainly affects him at night causing some mood swings/confusion and primarily affected his short-term memory, otherwise he is okay.

I hope for Mr. Hockey to fight these effects and continue to live a long and prosperous life with his family.
