Issues with shotty packaging standards

Just wondering how many people out there have received cards in this infamous snap-case:

closed on side on white background


opened interior with reknowned "round corners"


This is the at least the third time an eBay seller has sent me card(s) in these inferior items. These allow cards to shake inside in transit and without fail, damages the corners on cards (unless it is thick acetate like a Frozen in Time or Ice Scripts).

I've received and used these for quantity shipping and never had an issue. I always put in a folded penny sleeve to eat up the dead space and prevent sliding.

The problem is most sellers are completely ignorant of such a simple packaging technique.

I just received today a 1/1 in such an item and it have a dinged corner.

I have never sent a card in one of these, but I receive them fairly frequently. I have never had an damage with one of these cases, but I can't say they are my favorite shipping method. Sorry to hear about your luck.

You put a tiny piece of styro or fold two soft sleeves on top, and the cards won't move. The word you are looking for is shoddy.

Have received these often without damage, but as RMG81 said, for mutiple cards. Never a single.

I received a 1/1 sp game used By the letter of eric staal (actual entire letter from game used jersey) in one of these recently. thankfully, the card was in a penny sleeve and it didnt get damaged
