    Ok, a couple questions.
I'm looking to get a couple one touch holders for my "favorite" cards.

I have my Brodeur / Parise Tundra /50 Both with 3 color Patches

It is very thick, what size one touch would you recommend?

Also do they make extra thick penny sleeves? do i need it?

If your putting something in a one touch, i dont think a sleeve would be needed. And i always get the big ones for patches, just to be safe. and if its to big, i just put a thin decoy in the touch with it.

What 'brand' is your Brodeur/Parise card?

Yeah they make thick penny sleeves.
You dont need sleeves if you are going to put your card in a one touch.

You should probably get a 120-pt one-touch for your patch card. That should do it.

I use those 9 per page card/coupon holders and put my cards in a 3 ring binder...nice to take them out and look at them/sort them that way but the most valuable card I have is less than $10 so maybe not what you're going for.

I actually have pretty much all bases since they're cheap and I collect them to sort of scrapbook each NHL season (along with certain THN/Sports Forecaster magazines for that season) so I put them in a binder. Organized by team and I put the cards of players who retired last season in the back so it's usually 400 cards from Series 1/2 which gets every noteable player and then some extra from the guys who retired. So if you have a tonne of bases then that's what I'd suggest. If I pick anything extra other than Series 1/2 up then I just put them in beside the Series 1/2 version of that players' card.

Dollar store here sells packs of 5 of those card holder sheets for $1 (so for around 400-500 cards in a binder, you're spending around $10). Definetely prefer UD Series 1/2 compared to Panini Score for Basis and the box is more expensive but if you just want then complete base set then it's usually $20-40 on eBay or somewhere minus young guns.
