good point. If I was rich, with crazy high end cards I woudn't show it either. But unfortuantly, I fall in the less-better off spectrum and while becoming poorer.

I completely agree with you.

People rarely see it, and it absolutely applies to life as well.

While many complain or struggle during this harsher economic time. Those who have the money will continue to spend. It might not be to the same extreme extent, but spending none the less is no problem for them.

The Rich don't get poor during these times. They just don't get as rich.

The less-better off; however, only gets poorer.

It's all economics.

People who have money will always be willing to be spend and will always have the money (given that they don't blow it off doing ridiculous things).

Relating to the hobby. What we see in our daily transactions are what the average consumers buys/sells/trade. Until something off the wall, beautiful like the some Cup stuff we see pop up from Mark, then the "real players" come out.

And in these cases the real players did come out.

A lot them don't flash what they have/own, how much they can pay... it's the mentality they have (not all people do this). I have to say, only a very small portion of these people do so. Thus you do see nice cards on the boards when people post this is my collection... the rest prefer to just hide them just like they do with their assets.
