If it's in the description, it will be adhered to. I list it firmly in my shipping price to the USA, and to Canada as it allows me to do so with a firm number in the price listing boxes themselves.

It does not allow me further price listing boxes for overseas shipments, so that I also list in text in the listing itself along with the same price text listing to both the USA and Canada.

I've been selling on eBay since 1999 and not one single problem. I have 3 shipping totals, all three are adequately described in each individual auction.

If you list that shipping is $3.00, and nowhere else on your auction site do you say that it's $15.00, then you must abide by the $3.00 that you stated.

If not, then you are at an impasse with a sale. eBay will back the only total shown on the auction.

I disagree with what you have said. I've been challenged on this by a buyer and eBay said if it's in the description, that is the sellers policy and that is what needs to be followed.

Well I can confirm it's otherwise, I've got an old negative from a retarded US buyer to prove it. He took issue with it in the description and not filled out in ebays form, refused to pay it and ebay sided with him 100%. Since they went to the individual listing forms it is required and adding a proviso that if item sells over XXX shipping will be XXX is against ebay policy and does not allow you to charge it. If you want $15 shipping you have to specify it within the shipping form area of the listing so it's visible when view the shipping options in the listing.

We must have had different Ebay people reviewing our cases. I had them tell me that they cant tell me what my policies are and if I state that the shipping is X amount if over Y amount than so be it. I explained that I cant post 1 shipping rate on an auction because I have no idea what it will end at. If I post $15 for all, nobody will buy the little cards, if I post $3 for all I am screwed on bigger cards. They agreed.
