very professional review. i like the total break down of the set, too many people skip past the base set and only really give a breakdown of the autos and relics. thank you for not just passing by the base set, it's the heart of the set. you are right about the prices. that's why i haven't bought any tna boxes til i read you review. you had it sound like i'd have something cool with a base set so i actually ordered two boxes myself. i've always that tristar done good with the amount of hits in a box but is 7 tna hit really worth that much more that the 2 or 3 wwe hits? that's the question. it could be if you get hogan, flair or sting but if you don't then i think you're on the short end of the stick. your review was great and i think you should talk to some of the other websites about writing reviews for them.
thank you

I wish I had touched base on the lack of printing plates. While they didnt get all that much unsigned, and signed ones could get a few bucks back, where did they all go? I think they stopped inserting them with New Era.
Also, did we really need another Hemme/Val dual since we just had one in Signature series?Last edited by Will; 02-10-2012 at 04:28 PM.

Part 1:
Card #92 34/40
Card #R14 26/40 "Premium Reflexxions Foil"
Card #M32 124/199
Card #31 25/25
Card #61 31/50
Card #R2-15 16/25
Part 2: While you didn't pull one, I like the signed mat cards, but like you said it would be cool if they had multiple people sign one. Like a dual Motor City Machineguns or something like that. The look of the set I think is very well done, and I always enjoy the look of the dual autos, especially the Knockouts. Biggest drawback would be the price. It's nice to get so many hits per box, but the price of the box is pretty high, especially when you could end up with Lesser known talent autos.

No Plates in new era..last set they were in was 2010 Xtreme not that long ago..but before xtreme there hadnt been any since Knockouts revealed in which you could only get them in the more expensive "Revealed" boxes. But I agree they should include them especially like they did in Xtreme where they were an "extra" hit so if you pulled a auto plate you still got your 2 other autoed cards.

Great contest!!!
Part 1:
Card #92 18/40
Card #R14 24/40
Card #M32 87/199
Card #61 50/50
Card #R2-15 25/25
Card #31 01/25
Part 2:
Must say looks like the 1st wrestling product in AWHILE with some appeal to it!!! Like the short run, nice photos and enough inserts and /#ed to actually give a shot at SOME KIND of hit!!
Just like most TNA products though,WAY TOO MANY AUTOS!!! For 70-80 a box, look at some of those middle 30 autos...REALLY???
And don't really like in this set how Bischoff Had to destroy ULTIMATE pulls by his mug on them!!! Top pulls are Hands down Hogan/Flair and others on those multi autos but on EVERYONE once you get past the dual, you have BISCHOFF?? If they vested as much into top star autos as Bischoff autos would be A++++
But even with the "Bischoff factor" and overkill of "common Joe" autos which is pretty much downfall on ANY product, still think with the card quality, limited run, subsets and everything else I would still this is best looking wrestling product I've seen!!!
Thanks again for sharing and the contest Will!!!! VERY kind ;)
