Look at the shipping label on the envelope or parcel, it should be clearly marked UPS or USPS. If it's a UPS label then you caught the person in a lie, I'd scan a picture of it and email it to him.

on top of that file a complaint with ebay and paypal. as long as you didnt send as a gift he lied in his posting, your entitled to a refund of the $80. as long as it wasnt paypal gift, he doesnt even have to send you the refund, paypal will take it from him and give it back to you when you win the claim. just show them he said usps, and the package has a ups label on it. i worked at ups for nearly 4 years, i know the labels well, and it's completely different than any usps label out there

UPS is crap! (swedish UPS is one of the lowest rating company in sweden with virtually no happy customers!)
I'll never use UPS again as long I live.
$360 got +$900 (no kidding!), shipping was $320 +$60 (the seller forced me to pay extra) plus customs was around $180....
Yes it was a package to sweden (pretty big but not so heavy, but come again $380 in shipping!) NEVER NEVER choose UPS!!!
Next time I bought a DVD for $14 (ebay) the shipping was more expensive than the DVD and later the customs got over $20!!!! It was last time I use UPS.
USPS much better and much cheaper and almost never extra fee in customs... even if the valuve exceed $200.... I bought a drafting table and the shipping was only $130! Yhe package was huge and heavy and customs was low.... UPS is a buch of theifs (my opinion only)!
