I would sell your card now..though Lin is good player for now and is actually fun to watch...so people will continue to collect him....

I wanted to collect him BEFORE all this hype. This was the kind of 'nobody' that I was looking for: hard-playing, end-of-the-bench, and Asian. I didn't care if he was going to get cut at the end of the season. I just like the way he played. If I had more than one card I would sell. I only got one card before all this hype. I thought I had time after my physical ailment would have healed, but this happened during that time. At least I believe I got his best RC. They can say all they want about his NT card, but I don't care. I am allergic to sticker autographs. And what happens when that sticker begins to peel? Or if the autograph is outside the borders of the sticker? Ugly, right?

I wouldn't pay anything for a sticker autograph. I have made one exception about sticker autographs, but it was for personal reasons and did what I wanted to accomplish.

Regardless, I would sell it...you can always buy Lin cards in a year when all this hype has gone away...even if he becomes a 20 pt, 8-10 asst player for real his cards will drop in value...

who's usually the top BV guy for basketball nowadays? Is it Lebron still?

Interesting to see if Lin will get and stay at that level as LBJ.

I collect to collect. No one had any idea, least of all me, Lin's popularity would blow up like this. I just wanted a few cards of his, nothing big, and maybe a Lin Knicks road jersey. If he was cut and another team picked him up, I would still have followed him. I guess it was just dumb luck that it was in a huge market city where he gained his popularity.
