Trade nights
Frozen Heroes Sportscards & Memorabilia are proud to say that we have secured a venue to have a 'TRADE NIGHT'. At this moment we are looking at a monthly gig but depending on interest might be willing to make it a weekly or bi-weekly thing. We are also thinking about piggy backing our BOX BREAKS and PACK WARS into the same night.
Please let us know if you like the idea and if you have any suggestions for it including any BOX BREAKS or PACK WARS suggestions. We want this to be a fun night and something that collectors look forward to.
Venue will be the Durham Corporate Centre at 105 Consumers Drive in Whitby (L1N 1C4 for your map finders). I have a tentative date (during the week) in February for it but will confirm in the next posting.

Great idea. I would say once a month would be best. I live in the Burlington Ont area and would be willing to drive the distance as I love card trading. Any idea how many dealers/tables you hope to get?
Keep us on this site posted on any updates to the show.
Thanks.

The trade nights are going to be very informal. Pretty much anyone wanting to trade can come in. I'm looking more to help out those collectors wishing to not part with cash but do somw wheeling and dealing. The response has been huge so that is why we went with 2 dates this month.

Thanks to those who came to our first 'trade night'. It was great to see 'traders' wheeling and dealing. We enjoyed giving out FREE packs of 11-12 Panini Certifed to everyone. Congrats to those lucky winners of:
2011-12 UD Black Diamond box
2009-10 SPx Matt Duchene JSY AU RC
2010-11 Upper Deck P.K. Subban YG RC
Our next trade night is on: Tuesday, Feb. 21st at the Durham Corporate Centre at 105 Consumers Drive in Whitby from 7:00 p.m. till 10:00 p.m. Located between Thickson Rd. and Brock St. just off the 401.
We had a number of people wanting tables as they had bigger 'trade' collections so we will accomodate them for a nominal charge. Send me a message

Sounds like everybody had a really good time. Always good to get people involved in-person and making new hobby friends.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...
