The successful release of UFC Finest in 2011 has prompted the team at Topps to begin working on the second installment of the company's mid-tier product.
Topps UFC Brand Manager Jeremy Fullerton told CombatCardboard.com Finest 2012 will be released sometime this summer.
"I think collectors really liked the 2011 Finest product," he said. "It's a compelling brand. We're going to have some new bells and whistles that we think will get people excited."
Although Fullerton did not elaborate on what those new additions are, he did say they do include relic cards that have never been done before. "We think they are pretty neat," Fullerton said.
In addition, Fullerton said a favorite insert that collectors have been "clamoring" for will be included.
"It wasn't in the first edition of UFC Finest, but it was in a previous brand," he hinted. "The Finest technology will make the flags look really cool."
He also said there will be lots of on-card autographs included.
Fullerton said more information about the product will be available in the coming weeks. Continue to visit www.combatcardboard.com for the latest information on Topps UFC Finest 2012.

Yeah, KO actually looks pretty good. My LCS is saying $125 a box ... Finest will be cheaper. KO will have first autos of Cung Le and Nick Diaz, to name a few ... Oh, Renzo Gracie too.

yeah we are due for something that has retail. i need to get a blaster here and there to hold me over. I have no hobby shop near me so retail is the only way to get cards besides buying hobby online. also the retail only cards make it worth it.
