Grabbed a box today, got a question, jumbo boxes say 1 auto and 2 relics, does topps count a WS pin as a relic? To me that seems like a cop out...

I haven't seen the Gold Rush cards before, and I have the same question as desertdogg, is it numbered?

Cool card in any case, congrats!

    Cool

The Gold Rush cards were issued to card shops that hosted Topps rip parties. These shops then gave these cards out free to rip party participants (normally one card per person). Each store got 30 cards to give out. The gf and I each got a cool tie-tac type of Gold Rush pin and a Gold Rush card (mine was #210 Zack Greinke). As far as I know, these Gold Rush cards are not available in packs, only available at participating shops.

No, my last box of hobby 2012 series one had no black borders...

Production relics like the pin or the stitch cards that are manufactured relics are lame... A relic should be a game used piece... IMHO

But I do want the Lincecum pin and the Mays pin...

Decent looking break, too bad the pin counts as a relic.

If it's for trade, I'm interested in the Marlon Byrd auto for my son.
