I do very well with consoles. I usually find at least one at the goodwill outlet every time I go.

see if you have any goodwill outlets in your area. I can spend hours there. every hour the do a rotation of some bins (usually the clothes bins) and bring out new items. every two hours they clear the whole room and bring in new bins. I've found some pretty nice stuff there. It's usually stuff that I have to educate myself about once I've picked it up and before I buy it. I find lots of items that resell for $10 and you're paying about $1 or less depending on the weight. I also find quite a few items I've sold for $50-$100.

I always get a ton of sports jerseys which resell well.I eve came accross a Mitchell and ness bo jackson royals jersey which I have held on too but might sell soon.Picked it up for $5 and it is sweet

I picked up a vintage stereo receiver last weekend at the goodwill outlet. Paid $10 for it. It's a Fisher brand receiver. I listed it at lunch today and it sold within 5 minutes. I listed it at the high end of the completed prices. Got $164.99 for it. If anyone is out pickin' keep an eye out for that brand of stereo equipment. I'd never heard of it before a week ago, but it's high end stuff apparently. I also picked up a Fisher 8-track/cassette recorder that's a bit rough that I hope to get at least $100 for. It's missing knobs and the case is damaged in a few spots. All of the others sold in the $250.00 range but in much nicer shape.

I am no expert but i do know Fisher sells well and they turn up all the time.They are an old company but their product must stand the test of time.

Our local Salvos store closed last year. I got $250.00 worth of Pyrex - 2 sets for $10.00 each. I have not sold either yet, as I use both, and I'm a child of the 50's and 60's and the Pyrex of today is simply not as cool or as practical as the old stuff of the 60's.

Next year I may sell these sets, then find some more and sell them. Even if purchased one piece at a time, there is valuable re-sale profit in all older Pyrex.

I don't run into much pyrex but that may be because it's not on my radar as much as others. I did pick up a pyrex bowl at the goodwill outlet. Plan to sell it in my garage sale.

I just bought a 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Torch at an estate sale. My friend and I split the cost. I'll keep you posted as to when we sell it.
