Thurman Munson! That is a special auto. Any chance of sharing the story of how you obtained it?

Munson is considered a premium authentication so it's $150.00 + shipping..

How I got it.. Munson was a not too friendly signer during his career.. Many team balls have a clubhouse graph of his.. I acquired it from the individual that had it signed in Spring Training. A Munson signed 1979 Topps just sold at Auction for $17,000. Granted the signed '79 is extremely rare due to the short time one had to obtain Munson prior to his tragic passing.. Also I would entertain offers for it. It's a very special piece and aust for Yankee collectors.

    Very cool piece, congrats.

Looking at the autograph though, one has to wonder how they could truly authenticate that. A thin, dark signature against a black background makes it pretty difficult to see clearly.

It's very easy to authenticate. If u hold it up to light u see it clearly.. The photo does not do it justice. Check out the smaller photo and u can clearly see the graph..and the medium is the biggest clue. I've seen so horrible Munson forgeries signed perfectly in sharpie..

I can see the signature, I just mean it must be difficult to authenticate something signed so long ago and in a dark pen against a dark background.

Someday, I'm going to send a Stephen Jackson signed index card I have to them to test them...
