Whose getting ready for Racing???

Surprised that there isn't much more Nascar talk leading up to the start of the season.

Who will you be rooting for and against??
Who do you think will win the championship??
Will Danica win a race??


Just curious what others will be looking forward to.

I personally will root for the bad guy and always pull for Kyle Busch.
Yes I know he's a jerk etc.... but I love the way he races. I think he
flat out is the best driver out there next to Tony Stewart (who can drive
anything and win). I just like the way both of them Drive but I would like to see Kyle stop IMPLODING like big bro and stop screwing up so much late in the year. He needs so keep his trap shut, keep racing hard, but start racing smarter. I hope he learns to stop burning up his car so early in the races and learns that it's the last 10 laps that count not the first ten.

I also will be pulling for AJ in a good car at Penske will get his shot.

Unfortunatley Bowyer another guy I like is out of RCR and I hope he can do something at MWR but I doubt it in those cars.

And Kurt Busch should be entertaining to watch him totally melt down and not compete.....hopefully that will open little bros eyes and make him realize that it's a team sport.

I don't think JJ will get his 6th or Stewart his 4th but I think Carl Edwards will flip his way into his first championship. Every year he gets better, and better and last year was close. Hopefully he doesn't pull a Hamlin and regress. He's a great guy and is really promoting his sport....no one deserves to win a title more.....except Kyle...Just kidding.

And Danica????? I think she'll get a top 5 and further open people's eyes.
But if she ran a full schedule I really could see here getting a win...maybe next year and for the sports sake I hope I'm wrong.

I think the title comes down to 24/48.

I have a feeling Carl will fall prey to that '2nd place swoon' and finish outside the top-5 in points.

I think Kasey Kahne will lead the series in wins (similar to Mark Martin's first year in that #5 car).

I CAN'T WAIT for the Kurt Busch meltdowns.

I think Danica will be solid in NNS (top-5 points finish IMO), but she'll struggle to finish on the lead lap in any of her Cup races this year.

I can def see Kahne doing that, I never cared for him but nice to see him finally get the big shot. And the Kurt meltdowns should be classic. I really liked JJ until last year, I think the winning and $ has gone to his head a bit. The pit road soap opera shuffle was crazy, hopefully they got that sorted out.

the boards are always quiet pre-season-as soon as the actual racing starts the activity and conversation will spike.

Opinions:

I think Carl will still contend-at least I am really hoping (idk if he can win the championship though unless he wins more)

Championship prediction-comes down to 5 drivers-18, 48, 24, 99, 14-couldnt tell ya who wins

League Leader in Wins-Jeff Gordon

Moment most looking forward to-Kurt Busch meltdowns LOL

Best race of the year will probably be Darlington or one of the short track races

Kasey Kahne will do well and win multiple races.

AJ Allmendinger will win a race.

Dale Jr will win a race but not do much else better than he did in 2011.

Joey Logano will be replaced in the 20 car at year's end. (Darrell Wallace Jr anyone?)

Danica will do better than people think in Nationwide-have some top 5's and maybe luck into a win and finish top 10 overall in points, will struggle in Cup though.

Kyle, Kurt, and BK will combine to win 80% of the NNS races they run.

MWR might get better with Bowyer over there-might.

Hamlin might contend again if he can get his head on straight.

As of who im rooting for-as always-Carl 1st, Danica 2nd, Bowyer, Allmendinger, and the rest of the good guys.

against-as always the Busch bros, Harvick, and anyone else who thinks they are the greatest thing ever and arent exactly. and the 48-just because i cant stand Chad lol.
