Diaz is already a regular in the Habs lineup. I don't know about any of those other guys.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Koskinen played a few games up for the Isles last year. First 2 were a disaster but once he found his stride, he played pretty good.

I think Diaz will end up being the one of the group, not only cause of he is playing now, but he was a strong player in Hamilton, Nash could be another, but I don't think it will be with Montreal. Koskinen has the stride, but will it be in the Isle?

Diaz is 26.. of course he's going to be playing at a curve ahead of the rest of them.
Sauve has potential out of Van.. had a tough year last year after being hit by a car in training camp but came back and even got some NHL time with the Canucks annual d-man injury plague. Has had a solid season for the Wolves in the AHL this year.

Sauve not only got some time with the Canucks, he's played really well when he's been there. Looks like they're taking him and Tanev on the same road they used for Hodgson.
That said, a guy who can start a season getting hit by a car, heal and start with the ECHL affiliate, work his way onto the AHL team and get ice time with the big club all in one season absolutely has to have some talent.

All good points...sounds like Sauve's the guy to go after. It'll be interesting to revisit this from time-to-time.
One other nice non-auto'd RC set I guessed on was 2009-10 SPx. I went with Johan Backlund over James Reimer :). Seems like there's always one or two non-auto'd guys that pan out in these sets.Last edited by gfel2795; 02-18-2012 at 12:45 PM.

The only thing about Sauve is he's a D-man. He should have a nice, long career, but he'll never be a bank breaker in the hobby.

That's okay...my collection has plenty of love for D-men. I have about 35-45 RCs in each year, all brands.
