    Don Souza from Pawtucket RI

    Hi all,

My dad...Don Souza…had a card shop in Pawtucket RI about 20 years ago…Cards and Kites. It was about then that I bought his inventory so he could retire. He passed away in 1999. If anyone remembers him, and I hope someone does, they know this collection how meticulously well he kept his cards.

I still have the entire collection…about 120,000 -140,000 cards I figure. I’ve not touched it. The cards are all in the original boxes that he and Marie packed them in. I would guess about 60% are sets and overall I think about 80% is Baseball. He valued it back then at well over $75,000.

The problem is that I now live in Brazil, (the cards are here with me) and am ready to sell the entire collection to the right person at a reasonable price.
    Can anyone help?
    Don

Hello Don and welcome to SCF. A word of advice, I would consider splitting the collection into more manageable lots rather than trying to sell the entire thing at once.

Welcome to the site. I'm not far off from Pawtucket. Good to see references to local things.
I'm sure you'll find some buyers for your cards. Maybe not all in one lot, but ya never know.

    Hello...

Welcome to SCF and good luck with your selling. My word of advice would be to create smaller lots yo make it easier to move. I believe this will also help you maximize your profits.
