Topps redemption errors strike again

So a few months ago i pulled this card from a case of Titleshot

So i decide before i sell the card, i want to get it in my hands since it's a pretty good hit. I go to redeem it and it says "Congraulations, you are due to recieve a fight relic base." I also redeemed a ben henderson auto relic and it said i was going to get a fighter auto relic base.

I just called topps, and was told that this is an issue for down the road when i recieve the card because i might get an auto, but most likly will get what their computer system says i am to recieve. He said "Maybe we can make up the difference with other product."

I have had issue with topps before with triple threads and a 1/1 printing plate redemption. Basicly I was told the printing plate had been "misplaced". To make it up to me they sent me 3 packs of topps update. All 3 packs had base cards in them. I am getting sick of this, might be what stops me from continuing in this hobby.

i had a Matt Mitrione that had the same issue. I did receive the correct card though. so all hope is not lost

I hope I have the same luck as you. The fact that a base Rua auto was not made make me think i am screwed. According to becket only Rua's /88, /8 and 1/1 were produced.

I had the Mitrione error, got the right card. My shogun auto relic came up the same as yours, lets just hope everybody is the same and we all get our Shogun autos.

I took the replacement on my Shogun base auto from that set. Topps surprisingly was good on this one and sent me a Jon Jones RD2 Auto, and it was a Jon "Bones" variation. However, on my other replacements, it has been nothing but garbage.

My replacements have been pretty bad as well. I pulled a dual auto from bowman platinum and got an email from topps to call them since it had been so long since i entered the code. The topps rep told me that one of the players was having serious drug issues and was currently in jail or something and it was not looking good that he was ever going to sign his stuff. The card booked for $50 bucks. I was told that they would replace it with a dual and that they would try to get the phillies involved since they are my team. A few days later i got 2 $12 dollar single player autos OF THE SAME GUY as the replacement!

Hmm, Topps has been pretty good to me so far. But speaking of redemptions. I am waiting to get my Jon Jones Finest Moments #/188 redeemed. It looks like he signed everything else in the Finest set which is weird because these are sticker autos. It seems the on cards would be tougher to get signed and they came out first.

topps doesst care about anyones satisfaction. people need to realize that. they only care about the next case sale. you are going to buy topps whether they honor your redemption or not. sports cards are like scratch offs..buy til you win.

Until you get something that is a win and they don't honor it. Ive had great luck with panini products redemptions. I have been waiting on a demarco murray auo since the day sterling came out from topps
