Greens are great. People who complain that they are bland-tasting simply haven't learned to mix them with the right foods/seasonings. Few things are as refreshing as a spinach salad with croutons and a good dressing, for example.

I can't stand avocado. Too mushy and disgusting, but that's just me. Everyone else in my family likes it. I'm not a big leafy green eater, but I'm not opposed to salad if it has some good dressing on it, I love italian dressing.

Also if you don't like green vegetables mix them up with your fruit smoothie in the blender. Put more fruit than greens and the taste of the fruit will override the taste of the greens.

    Thanks guys for the thoughts.

    Yes, greens are good.

Some may not understand, foods either create life or destroy it. Also what you drink matters as much & more.

Unfortunately many people go along eating and drinking any and everything. I used to be one of these people.

When sickness or disease comes, they don't connect the dots that what they have been unwittingly putting in the body, is the result of their misfortune. A lot have the mindset that they catch a cold, flu, or this and that. No you don't catch anything, rather you do sickness by choosing wrong things over and over, & it all catches up after a while!

This is interesting to say the least.

    God bless.

That's a good point. I try to eat healthy most of the time and I very rarely get sick. Some of my extended family doesn't eat so healthy and they get sick a whole lot more than I do. Of course there are other factors involved, but healthy eating helps you to have a strong immune system. I say this as I just polished off a piece of red velvet cake, but it's just a once a month occurence at most.
