    Best 90s set

Well, have set a goal of putting a few sets together from the 90s and would like the boards opinions on what are some ultra highend inserts I should chase. The ones that stick to mind so far are:

    96-97 E-X2000 A cut above
97-98 Stadium Club triumvirate illuminator parrallel
    98-99 Fleer tradition playmakers

I figured I should have a list of a few sets as they rarely pop up on the bay so if I have a few sets am chasing then a steady and regular flow of cards should be available to pick and choose from.

    Any other suggestions.

Plenty of high-end sets mate. Some of my favourites are:
    96-97 Fleer Thrill Seeker
96-97 Skybox Z-Force Big Men on Court
97-98 Skybox Z-Force Big Men on Court
97-98 Skybox Metal Universe Platnium Potraits
    97-98 Skybox Golden Touch

Here is my personal favourite non-numbered card in my PC:

    hope that helps

The early 90s is when I collected Jordan and basketball. What memories! What designs! I collected MJ inserts for two reasons: #1 because it was the IN thing to do and #2 I thought I would never be able to own a Michael Jordan RC.

If you decide to go for the Playmakers Theatre set, be warned there are multiple versions floating around. The real ones have serial numbering out of 100 on the back and are embossed. Good luck!

Yep good post, definitely be aware of the various versions. At one stage back 5-6 years ago I was going for the entire print-run, got up to 13 and gave up because there were so many fakes here and there and had to return some back to the seller because of the problems mentions above.

The best set of the 90's is Skybox Autographics 96-97! It's not even close! All these other sets are garbage.
